⁣⁣If you missed day one… you can read that here.
⁣⁣
Let’s get right to it today… three more big fat juicy lies told in the coaching industry… ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
#3 – You can’t ever discount your products or services. Fundamentally False. You can do and sell whatever you want at whatever price point you want. And if you have a special occasion, maybe it’s a holiday, a birthday, some sort of special, some sort of sale, you can discount your services without devaluing your business or without discounting who you are. All major corporations give discounts and have special, limited sales: Amazon, Macy’s, Victoria’s Secret… you name it. As long as there is a purpose to the discount or a time limit to the sale, you can do it! ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
#4 – Now this one is interesting and I hear it a LOT. It’s that you can’t sell high ticket and low ticket at the same time. You either have to choose if you’re going to position yourself as a high ticket coach or a low ticket coach. Just like any other business on the planet, you can have a range of products. You can sell something low cost, like an entry level- low cost membership, a DIY product, books, eBooks, things like that that are at a lower cost…⁣⁣
⁣⁣
AND you can also sell high ticket services, like masterminds, done for you, or one-on-one coaching at a higher price. The thing I always tell my clients when it comes to what you can charge and what people will pay for is: ACCESS. So if someone buys a product, that has no or little access to you, it can be at a lower price, because it really doesn’t cost you anything to sell something that has already been created. But if the access to you in high or intimate, like private coaching or done-for-you, then hell yes… charge that higher price! ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
#5 – You have to do live streams every single day in order to make sales and to be visible. Oh lord, where do I begin? Now, I do feel that live streaming is important at some points, so that people can see you, hear you, feel you, and also get some expertise and value from you- Whether that be an impromptu livestream on socials, a pop up Q&A, or an official masterclass or webinar. But it’s definitely something that doesn’t need to be done daily. With the advancement of different platforms and different tools like Reels, TikToks, IG Stories, and YouTube Shorts you can have the same effect of connecting with your audience by doing something that takes just a fraction of the time. Like 45 seconds instead of 45 minutes! ⁣⁣

Stay tuned for tomorrow’s email where I will be breaking down even more lies told in the coaching industry. I hope these give you the motivation and permission to do business how YOU freaking want to… not like everyone says you have to.⁣⁣
