There’s this myth that pops up in my circles all the time that I want to address today. It’s that the only successful coaches are business coaches or people who coach other entrepreneurs.

While this may seem like a viable truth, it’s really not true at all. The reason you “see” so many business coaches have success, is because that’s what you surround yourself with. As a life, health, wellness, relationship or other non B2B coach, you are hanging around in entrepreneur groups and that’s why this is what you are constantly seeing.

Imagine this: you hang out at McDonald’s for an entire week. And you decide that “all people” are overweight, unhealthy and eat like crap.” It’s a pigeon holed generalization. Maybe “all those people” in that particular environment are. But it doesn’t mean that all people are.

On the other hand, if you hung out at Whole Foods all day, you would start to think that everyone is mindful of their health and taking care of themselves. See what I’m talking about.

Well I’m sure you’re probably still skeptical, so I rounded up a list of 10 life coaches who do not coach other entrepreneurs as their target market. Hopefully this list gives you some inspiration.
